Childcare

Look at Me Learn offers a full day year round program for children ages one to six years old. We are licensed by the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing, ensure that we stay within licensing regulations, and offer low adult to child ratios.

We focus on offering a play-based curriculum where we offer many activities for the child to play as they learn. We believe that learning through play is how a child can learn to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children develop social and cognitive skills, are able to matte emotionally and gain the self confidence to try new experiences and environments. Through play child learn a set of skills such a social skills, creativity, hand-to-eye coordination, problem solving, and imagination. Research shows that these skill are better learned through play rather than flashcards or academic drills.

To make learning fun through play, the teachers develop planned activities, including weekly themes, letter, and numbers of the week to incorporate into the curriculum. Every activity that the children do is a learning activity. We count, talk about colors, shapes, art (writing), read stories (to develop language), cook (math), and more to prepare them for the future.
